Is it possible that the problem is not the device, but that the user is the only one who has selected a color scheme that requires a color your application doesn't have access to? Perhaps is personal settings cause your application to try to guess at a certain PrimaryInverse color that would fit the scheme, but isn't actually available in the resources.
