Yes you are right that's what i did.
You can refer following snippet:
ListView mainCategoryList;
mainCatrgoryList.setAdapter(mainCategoryAdapter);
mainCategoryList.setOnItemSelectedListener(new OnItemSelectedListener()
{
@Override
public void onItemSelected(AdapterView<?> arg0, View view, int
arg2, long arg3)
{
view.setBackgroundResource(R.drawable.category_list_item_focus_bg);
}
@Override
public void onNothingSelected(AdapterView<?> arg0)
{
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
}
});
mainCategoryList.setSelection(0);
Let me know, if you need anything more.
I even tried to put these few line of code in ApiDemo but it didn't even
work there.
