Ah, the dynamic part makes sense for a GridView. I've seen a ScrollView also be used with a LinearLayout template, so I guess it really is preference at that point.
I must say that I never thought of using a ListView for the dashboard. I'm not even sure how. Do you use two views in each list row? What benefit do you see with using the ListView?
