Ok. So here is what I am trying to understand. I have an X10A from AT&T. I can not develop on the phone because it doesn't allow me to install third party none market applications. If I try to root the phone it will remove the 3G and WIFI from functionality from the phone. At this point I am considering the need that I may need buy a new phone just for the soul purpose of being able to test the apps I'm developing. Am I wrong to think that there must be something that AT&T can provide me with to root the phone so I can develop on it?
