I have an app that provides special treatment to outgoing phone calls prior to invoking the DIAL action. Right now the app is basically standalone... meaning that the user must manually enter the telephone number they want to dial and click a button to invoke the dial event which hands off to the Native Android telephone dialer. The app works fine as is. However, I would like to give the user the option to incorporate my app as an optional handler when they click on a dial request in the native contacts application. I noticed that Skype provides this type of functionality for their application so I referenced it here but my question really has nothing to do with Skype. Suggestions?
