I need to discover Bluetooth pairing phase in order to modify my application behavior, for instance not to close the connection during onPause. I decided to listen for ACTION_BOND_STATE_CHANGED and discover BOND_BONDING state and it worked well. At least for my HTC Wildfire, but for HTC Legend bond state changes from BOND_NONE immediately to BOND_BONDED after successful pairing skipping BOND_BONDING state.
