That's clearly not the best motive, but it is a common one in LOTS of
Internet forums, not just this one. It is not something we can really
change.

But Trek is right about at least one thing, even if not about the
manner in which he said it: it was a mistake to put 'URGENT' in the
subject of the original post. It always is a mistake, as so well
explained at the very long list of other "don'ts" at
http://www.catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-questions.html.
