I don't see why we should have a problem with the "big boys" getting first dibs on a new category of device (like Google TV). They have the resources to invest in experimentation and will work with the Android people in a close and time consuming manner. Do you have the resources to throw a man year at a three month project? I certainly don't. Be glad that there are companies that can and will do this as well all benefit from their testing, debugging, development and investment.
