thanks, we may do this in the next version, but we already have this one working.
If I could turn off the tiles, we'd get better performance bcos I'm currently downloading Google tiles when I don't even use them. Can someone from Android/Google answer if I would be violating any agreements by not using a maps key? The Google logo still shows which is fine by me...
