Folks, there is a serious disconnect between the examples that are provided, what the documentation says, and what the Version 1.0 SDK actually implements.
For openers, it'd be of great help to get rid of examples posted on this forum and in Android docs that only work on m5. I gotta believe this is causing a lot of grief. I can understand old m5 code on the Web but not on code.google.com. Second, there are a number of m5 entry points that are implemented as NOPs in v1.0. This is NOT helpful. Lots of good thinking as gone into V1.0. It's a pity that it's so hard to find. IMHO, as always.
