Say, I'm opening connection to a website using URLConnection. GPRS is not enabled yet. What will happen? Will GPRS become enabled? Will user be notified and asked whether she wants to enable GPRS? Or will an exception be thrown?
On current phones (like Nokia/Symbian), when GPRS is not enabled, and an application tries to access the internet (e.g. Maps), user is prompted to allow/deny the request. Will similar happen on Android? Thanks.
