Hi, I have set the proxy using the commands
adb shell sqlite3 /data/data/com.google.android.providers.settings/databases/ settings.db "INSERT INTO system VALUES(99,'http_proxy','192.168.0.88:8118');" sqlite3 /data/data/com.google.android.providers.settings/databases/ settings.db "SELECT * FROM system" With this emulator browser works fine. However my application is not able to connect. I am using apache commons api. org.apache.commons.httpclient.DefaultHttpMethodRetryHandler; org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpClient; org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpStatus; org.apache.commons.httpclient.methods.PostMethod; org.apache.commons.httpclient.params.HttpMethodParams; For these api to work through proxy do I need to have special parameters to let net connection happen!! Pl. help..
