Hi; I am unable to understand how to convert these values into the format of System.getCurrentTimeMillis(). Appearantly they are both long (at least the document says so), however their 0 point seems to be different.
For example; I handle a touch event in dispatchMotionEvent() method of a view and i simply print out its getEventTime() value and current system time(System.getCurrentTimeMillis()) together. The first one is: 1421924 and system is : 1206736087987, whilst they must be the same (or only a few ms different) Appearently there is a format difference, so how am i going to convert between these 2 values? (I am not sure if substracting a constant value will work. (The first value might not be a long i.e a native unsigned int converted to long at some point --> fail...) Can anybody explain this (or at least note this to improve the documents in the future), thanks in advance. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
