Hi, This could be a commonly asked question and I am sorry if I am posting it again, but after hours of googling and trying various things, I still am not able to find the device usb0 - either on the Ubuntu laptop or on the device (Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700). adb devices does list the device but I cannot see the usb0 device in ifconfig/lshw -class network on the Ubuntu PC.
I do not have a WiFi AP / WiFi card in my PC and I would like to access the android market application from the device using USB. Buying a $10-$20 WiFi AP will solve it I suppose, but I want to know if I can go the USB way?
