Custom notification template question

Hi list,

I'd like to be able to put the 'secret_id' value into a custom 
notification template. I've looked at the README.customize file but 
can't find a built-in macro that would expose it.

I understand it must be a normal restriction but how can I achieve that? 
By defining a custom macro?
