Hi, I'd recommend updating to a later Amarok version if possible. 3.2.2 still uses Phonon for playback, but Phonon is not in that good shape / widely used anymore (and is on its way out). Thus the problem might originate from something Phonon-related, but won't likely get fixed even if the cause is found. It has been replaced with GStreamer based playback engine in 3.3 series.
