Need help installing on Linux Mint

Can anyone tell me if there are any plans in the works to get this into the
Mint repos. I tried to compile it but there was so much random stuff that's
over my head. Different .config.cmake files that are missing but I see them
in the folder that I specified. Wondering if anyone knows an easier way to
do it, or if I just wait will it eventually be available on other distros?
