First of all, thank you team for putting your efforts and time in the
development of Amarok.
I've been using Amarok since the beginning of times!
I'm using Amarok, Version 2.9.71, Using KDE Frameworks 5.68.0 on
several machines running Kubuntu 20.04, with
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.8
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0
Qt Version: 5.12.8
Kernel Version: 5.15.0-107-generic
The Amarok I'm using was package in .deb and obtained from the ppa
repository of Pedro de Carvalho Gomes (THANK YOU PEDRO!!!). The
installation went smoth and Amarok works with (almost) no problem, it is
using (I guess) embedded database.
I'm in the process to move my computers to Kubuntu 24.04. So far I've
just move one, I need to check whether I will be able to run Amarok in
Kunbuntu 24.04 with
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0
Qt Version: 5.15.13
Kernel Version: 6.8.0-31-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
I use (again) the ppa repository of Pedro de Carvalho Gomes to do the
magic (thanks again, Pedro!!). It was installed with no problem.
