For crashes we need > a backtrace, see also here on how to get a proper backtrace: a) Looking at the intel he provided it's by 99% a bug in phonon/pulseaudio (... *sigh*) - this causes the Dr. Konqui failure as well. -> disable pulseaudio for phonon, uninstall pulseaudio, whatever to momentarily prevent the crash. b) open konsole, run: "gdb --args amarok --nofork 2>&1 | tee amarok.gdb.txt", wait for the crash and then type "bt". Press enter unless there're no more updates, then "quit".
