Hi, I am a Mathematics and Computer Science sophomore at IIT Kharagpur. I am interested in contributing to Amarok and maybe further in GSoc'13. I am efficient in C++ and have a decent knowledge of the Qt Framework and the Git Version Control System.To get started, I compiled Amarok from source with instruction from Myriam's blog. I was looking to solve this bug : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311329 (Better user feedback (error messages) in Amarok when transcoding from CD is not working due to lame not being installed) . It would be very helpful if someone can guide me regarding this.
