I would like to see the feature request for multiple local collections come true. Since this is a big change to the way amarok handles its collection(s) it would IMO be ideally suited for GSOC. For more info about what is envisioned: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=197573 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=207358 Especially the feature mentioned in the second report is something that would rock my world (since my classical collection is already taking up more space and soon probably also more playing time than the rest of my music :D) Since I am a student maybe I could find a way to actually take it on, but that might be hard since I will start my master thesis this year.
