Jose,
I'll take that as a push towards Fedora Bugzilla. Maybe they'll be
receptive to a bug report with a fix. If that's wrong, say so, please.
Thanks,
Lou

Folks,
Back in July 2023 I wrote asking about a problem with amanda aborting a
dump when it encountered a host that was down.

This finally rose to the top of my todo list. Turns out
sec_tcp_conn_read_callback was trying to read a structure that was already
freed. I have a small patch, along with some other small tweaks that allow
for a proper VPATH build on Fedora 41. Albeit with some very scary compiler
warnings, but seems to work for my simple situation.
The Fedora RPM uses the code tagged as tag-community-3.5.4 at zmanda's
amanda repo on github, with a bunch of patches. Any suggestions as to where
to send the patches that might be responsive?
Thanks,
Lou
