Hello amanda users,
Recently I've upgraded amanda 2.5 to a 3.3.7 version. It's running more
stable but still I have some outstanding issues.
I'm using LTO6 tapes and IBM ULT3580-HH6 tape drive.
Most of backups finish without the issues, but some of them partially finish
with the errors like:
Config : WeeklySet1
These dumps were to tape WeeklySet1-12.
Not using all tapes because 1 tapes filled; runtapes=1 does not allow
additional tapes.
There are 92071M of dumps left in the holding disk.
Run amflush to flush them to tape.
The next tape Amanda expects to use is: WeeklySet1-07.

Seems like that tape was filled and amanda switched to a degraded mode and
soon ran out of space on a holding disk and finally backup failed.
The outstanding question for me are:
1) Only 462784M were used on the LTO6 2.5TB tape but the error "Not
using all tapes because 1 tapes filled; runtapes=1 does not allow additional
tapes." Occurs
2) Does anyone use IBM ULT3580-HH6 with amanda, if yes, can you please
verify my LTO6 tapetype:

3) I'm using 100GB holding disk for 2.5TB LTO6 tape drive. I know from
amanda 2.5 that there shouldn't be an issue - just the backup to tape won't
be so effective(if there is no space for chunker to allocate whole DLE it'll
stream it directly to the tape)
Did something changed in amanda 3.3.7 re requirements to the holding disk
space comparing to 2.5?
