Now I understand a meaning of "script output property" as follows: When Amanda executes a certain script, its STDOUT is read by Amanda. If the line Amanda read matches "PROPERTY str1 str2", Amanda sets a property called "str1" by the value of "str2" so that subsequent commands that Amanda will run can refer it.
