It'd maybe need a low pass digital filter to handle guesses on volatile
filesystems. On the other hand, Amanda's the only backup system I'm aware
of that performs an estimation prior to backing up the systems.
It uses it to schedule the level 0,1,2,3 dumps and when in the order a
particular filesystem will be backed up?
