Dear sir,
  I have tried the -h -c
tar -hc 202.85.165.88._home.20001215.0
with my file amrestored from the tape.
Then it shows a lot of strange characters in front of my monitor for a
long time.
May I ask what is wrong?

Yours,
Richard Ao
