just checked the ALSA tree and found that the support for 18i6 mixer is
enabled but not able to find the same in the kernel mainline tree at
kernel.org. When is this planned to be patched in the mainline kernel?
Also, i have a 8i6 for which i would like to extend the support for the
internal mixer. Can i use the code for 18i6 here? or does it needs any
changes? in anyway i could help it to add the support for 8i6 device too?
