Hello,
I am having a problem getting an ice1724 card to work. This card was
sold by the german Musicstore in Cologne, a card named Fame MS 2x2,
with a chipset ice1724
my lspci says about this card:

I have two cards in my system, according to cat /proc/asound

1 [ICE1724 ]: ICE1724 - ICEnsemble ICE1724
ICEnsemble ICE1724 at 0xe000, irq 19
The cmedia cards works fine with jackd. However, when I start jackd
using the second card, jack starts up, but then gives me roughly every
30 seconds the following message:
ALSA: poll time out, polled for 31999267 usecs
JackAudioDriver::ProcessAsync: read error, skip cycle
Then, when I start a simple jack client, like hydrogen, it does not
connect automatically with the system output, as it does when I use my
cmedia card. I even cannot connect the ports manually in qjackctl,
which functions without problems using the cmedia card.
I also cannot unmute my via1724 card using alsamixer, neither with
alsamixer-gui.

My system is Fedora 10 using CCRMA from Stanford.

Which output of amixer should I give to you for you in order to be
able to help me. I have to say that I am not yet well aquainted with
amixer.
