Hi folks, I tried Linux 2.6.29.1 on an Acer Aspire Revo. Problem: By default there is no sound at all, neither via the hdmi connection, nor on the headphone. In dmesg I found this:

Using "model=something" for snd-hda-intel I figured out that the

give me sound on the headphone, but not on hdmi.
There are special acer-* models for other chipsets, but not for ALC662.
Do you think it would be possible to add the missing model description
for ALC662? I would be glad to help.
