Hello, I've just bought a new fujitsu-siemens laptop model: amilo si 2636-005 core2 duo. Hardware:intel 82801H (ICH8 family) HD audio controller (rev 03). Codecs: Connexant CX202561 (Hermosa) and Generic 1095 SI HDMI(this last one appears in alsamixer). I am on Ubuntu Studio 8.04 AMD64. The sound worked out of the box but is distorted especially around low frequencies even though the PCM level is not too high. I use the latest version of alsa drivers (0.19). Tried almost everything without luck... Thanks a lot for your help! Gauvain Gamon
