Hello!
I think this is a question for Jaroslav or perhaps Takashi. I have a problem
with my alsa-driver for the delta1010lt card. My IPGA-analog-controls don't
get included. It worked with alsa 1.0.11rc2 and failed with 2.6.20 kernel
(Don't know, which alsa is included there). Also failed to work with 2.6.21.1.
It seems to be a problem of somehow noticing the ak45-something chip. I
looked. the code got compiled cleanly, in sound/i2c and in sound/pci/ice1712.
But still there's no analog extra amp for my I/Os.
Here's what's probably important for you:
Failing kernel: 2.6.20, 2.6.21.1-with mm patches.
Soundcard: delta 1010 LT
alsa-lib,tools,utils versions tried: 1.0.11rc2, 1.0.14rc3 and 1.0.14rc4.
Last known working state:
Kernel: 2.6.16.2 (alsa-driver 1.0.11rc2)
alsa-lib,utils,tools: 1.0.11rc2, 1.0.14rc3 and 1.0.14rc4.
Relevant alsa-config in the kernel:
all oss item (emulation, sequencer, mixer...)
Use rtc, also for seq-timer
No verbose printk or other debug.
ice1712-driver included.
If you'd like a full .config file, please tell me so and I'll send it to you
personally.
Kindest regards
Julien
