If you have 'Headphone Jack Sense' and 'Line Jack Sense' mixer
switches on alsamixer, turn them off.

These switches are removed automagically for devices that don't like
them.  Forgot whether it's already fixed in 1.0.11rc3.

Anyway, if the above helps, show the output "lspci -nv" for Class 0401
entry, to check the latest status.
