I have recently installed my Guillemot Fortissimo II (with Cirrus Logic CS 4614/22/24 chip) on my Linux 2.21 PC. Everything went fine. I used alsamixer to adjust the volume and I put some sound... nothing.
I tried a simple cat sample.au /dev/audio, it seemed to work except that no sound was coming out from the speakers.
I also noticed that I don't have any /proc/sound file, shouldn't I have one?
Any suggestion?
