It's possible if you use the aoss script from the alsa-oss package.
This one redirects all accesses to /dev/dspX to an ALSA PCM device
named dspX, which you can define in the .asoundrc to do anything you
want. I.e., put the following in your .asoundrc:
pcm.dsp0 {
type dmix
...
}
and run your OSS application with
aoss my_app ...
