I could activate TOS-digital out with a Terratec Aureon Fun 5.1 which uses a CMI8738MC6 chipset, but I have no idea how to activate digital in.
I use SuSE 8.2 and alsactl version 0.9.0rc7 In /etc/asound.state there is no "name <IEC958 Capture Switch'>". Do I need this switch to activate digital in? If so, what do I have to do? I made tests with qarecord and ecasound and got silence only, but the audio-file was created.
