Does the file /dev/snd/seq exist? Is the snd-seq module loaded? If not:
does it work after "modprobe snd-seq"?

snd-cmipci is used as an example, it isn't related to snd-cs46xx.

If you want to connect an external MIDI device (keyboard, synthesizer ...)
to your computer, then the answer is yes. If you want to use the CS4630's
internal wavetable synthesizer, the answer is no.
