Ok, abandoned my Intel810 and put in a SB128 PCI.
Sound outputs fine with snd-ens1370 loaded, and I can see input from my
Evolution MK225c using aseqview -s72:0.
aconnect -li shows:
client 0: 'System' [type=kernel]

1 'Announce '
Connecting To: 63:0
client 64: 'External MIDI 0' [type=kernel]
0 'MIDI 0-0 '
Connected From: 72:0
client 72: 'External MIDI 1' [type=kernel]
0 'MK-225C USB MIDI keyboard Port '
Connecting To: 64:0
aconnect -lo shows:
client 64: 'External MIDI 0' [type=kernel]
0 'MIDI 0-0 '
I run aconnect 72:0 64:0 and then not sure what to do next.
Rosegarden sequencer doesnt show any sign of recording any input..
