Hi,
I am using the via82xx driver. When I attempt to play Starcraft
or Kohan under wine, the sound is highly accelerated. This does not
happen with any native applications. (such a RTCW or Tuxracer or mpg123,
etc)
I am using the following OSS settings in
/proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss.
"wine.bin 0 0 direct" and
"winex 0 0 direct"
I don't know exactly what these values mean. If anyone can shed
some light (and perhaps explain why wine is failing to play sound
properly) I would really appreciate it.
