Hello,
I own a cmi8330 isa sound card
In kernel i have support for sound and isapnp
I have a problem with alsa-driver-0.9.0rc5...
I have compiled the driver with
$ ./configure --with-isapnp=auto --with-cards=cmi8330,ad1848
--with-oss=yes
and then i instaled it ..
I have loaded the modules:
snd-cmi8330 6608 0
snd-ad1848-lib 8336 0 [snd-cmi8330]
snd-sb16-dsp 5808 0 [snd-cmi8330]
snd-pcm 57472 0 [snd-ad1848-lib snd-sb16-dsp]
snd-timer 9984 0 [snd-pcm]
snd-sb-common 7744 0 [snd-cmi8330 snd-sb16-dsp]
snd 27616 0 [snd-cmi8330 snd-ad1848-lib snd-sb16-dsp
snd-pcm snd-timer snd-sb
soundcore 4080 0 [snd]
and when I try to play something with alsaplayer by exemple I get:
ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:866:(snd_pcm_hw_open) open /dev/snd/pcmC0D0p failed: No
such file or directory
snd_pcm_open: No such file or directory (default)
/usr/local/lib/alsaplayer/output/libalsa_out.so failed to load
NOTE: THIS IS THE NULL PLUGIN. YOU WILL NOT HEAR SOUND!!
