Thanks to all who responded. I think I'm making
progress, but I still haven't received any MIDI
events for my SoundBlaster Live! Value.
Question: Is it true that external MIDI is sent/
received by the MPU401 port on the card? Or is
MPU401 a specialized chip not on the SB Live?
Question: Do I need special entries in
/etc/modules.conf to activate external MIDI on
the card?
Question: Why do my mpu401-uart and seq-midi
modules show up as (unused)?
