Akkkk, that what you get when you answer e-mail when your not quite
awake.
The line should read
alias snd-card-0 snd-intel8x0
I was looking at both the /etc/modules.conf on my home machine and
the machine at the lab with the 845 motherboard, and somehow I copied
the wrong modules.conf into the e-mail.
In any case, they are the same OTHER than that line.
Ill look at your other questions in the AM, when you might get a
better answer...
