Hi I have recently installed (at least physically) an Maudio delta 1010lt sound card in my computer. I am running the latest 2.5.5 kernel and have tried both the alsa built into the kernel source tree as well as the latest 0.9.0beta12 alsa sources. I am having the same problems either way. The sound modules are loaded without complaints. However there is no sound. The envy24control patchbay has only two s/pdif entries and nothing else.
I tried various things, I saw that at some point there was a probelem that the 1010 card was getting only the two s/pdif entries in the patch bay, but at the end the problem I think is simpler. . There is no reference to the 1010lt card in the ice1712.c source code. the eeprom number of the card is not the same as the one for the 1010 card. The last three symbols are different.. from memory something like 0x....b.. (sorry the computer is at home).
