I have noticed another problem that seems much bigger. alsaout has a major
memory leak. xmms's memory consumption goes into 150MB and then all that
happens is massive constant swaping.
But I haven't yet located the source of the problem. I ruled out alsa-lib
since all other apps don't go all crazy eating memory resources.
I advise you not to use this plugin until this is solved.
