[Alsa-user] alsa driver will not compile with slackware 8.0

hi all,
anyone have any subgestions on how i can make
the alsadriver compile with slackware 8.0?
it looks like slackware might have changed some libs
or something in there upgrade
because the alsa drivers will not compile.
