Hey. Well, that's certainly not supposed to happen. I don't know about the nVDA error but if ctrl-shift-escape doesn't work, something has been messed up with windows. That keystroke should work anytime, anywhere...even if file explorer has crashed and is unusable, that keystroke should work to open task manager. If you can get to task manager some other way, maybe something else is trying to hijack that particular keystroke. A rogue NVDA add-on? I have no idea. Maybe this is something worth posting posting to the NVDA group.
