Hello hello. yes, it is a fat ball with a neat design that sits on a small tripod stand. It is a uSB connection (this is what Adrian asked for) with the jack located in the back of the device.

Many years ago, I had a ball-shaped mic that was very good for music. It was at the beginning of the stereo era and it was only one mic, mono. We didn't use it much for recording our band. That was in about 1960. Then I bought a pair of Shure D55s that we used quite a bit. Still have those Shures.
