Because if you need a cable card, oh boy oh boy getting Comcast to be
honest about them. lol They sometimes even act like they don't know what

Box can do several different things depending on the model of Box you buy.
The concept is based around 4 TV tuners.
The Version I have is the Android Gateway so you get an Android Interface to
control the 4 tuners along with IOS/Android Apps for control and a HTML web
interface.
Talkback is included in the package so - if you wish to control the box using
Android - you have complete accessibility and the freedom to install extra Apps
onto the box such as Youtube and Netflix.
The Box connects to the Internet either by Wi-Fi or the Ethernet connector.
A HDMI socket is provide along with an optical fibre Digital-out for connection
to a Television and surround-sound system - the Box handles both 4K HD and
Surround-sound modes if required. -
Along with the Android control the Box is fully UPNP compatible therefore you
can use your computer or any other device on your network to stream content
from one or more of the tuners.
A hard drive, SD card, USB stick or NAS can be used for scheduled recording of
TV programmes and so on.
