Hi, I'm currently experiencing a problem with my M-Audio Audiophile 2496 card, which I've had since 2007 or so. For whatever reason, I'm now unable to play anything in programs like WinAmp, Foobar2000, etc. when the card is selected. However, I can record just fine in programs like GoldWave, and both playback and recording work in REAPER, which is set to use the card's ASIO drivers. I purchased some soft synths a couple days ago, but can't imagine them causing problems as they're used in REAPER and Samplitude. I'm wondering if anyone has any solutions for resolving this problem? Failing that, I'm thinking that it may be time for me to get a new sound card, but am not sure which one to go for. Does anyone have any suggestions?
