Ah so the DM-7 was kinda like the 4. Well what did it sound like anyways
Dain? The 4 was meh a DM. What evs. But again that's just Hamiht. That's
just me wanting studio audio. Which stuff like the H5 and H6 indeed give
you. Now the F stuff gets you right next door to super duper almost
Sound Devices audio. Meh could have gotten the DM 4 but meh the sound
does sound a little bit to mini me for my liking. You especially without
the omni can hear it's little. I was tempted by the fact it can do FLAC.
Cause I do need a FLAC player. I also skiped on it because of the whole
XLR and phantum power thing. I wanted to use my Audio-Technica AT-8022
to it's full potential.

Only my opinion again, the best Olympus recorder available today I’ve played
with is the LS-P4 which is indeed a very handy little recorder and does far
more than one would expect from a recorder of this size.
No, the LS-P4 doesn’t have some of the facilities that the such as a built-in
Screen Reader of sorts that the DM7 does but we are talking recorders after all.

No problem with purchasing another recorder and you’re absolutely right, its
not always convenient to use a Zoom H6, Zoom F8N etc to make that recording
conveniently on the spur of the moment.
I’m sorry I can’t help you with your Olympus DM7.
I did have one of those machines but only for a very short of time as I
absolutely hated it, the worst ever Olympus recorder I’ve seen apart from the
LS-100.
The above is only my opinion and I’m in no doubt that there will be list
members who will quite rightly tell me what a wonderful recorder the DM7
actually is but.. we.. the DM7 recorder is something I just didn’t warm to in
the time I had it.

Both Zooms are rather bulky for some recording items out of doors and I wanted

I've tried the old faverate of "Accessible Youtube", but I could only find one
file from Olympus themselfs, which are of little support also.
