When I say Audio Casting I mean streaming from your Google Home etc to another speaker. JBL very well may have the solution for you with their Playlist speaker which has Audio Chromecast streaming built right in. I took delivery of a JBL Playlist speaker and had it up and running in a matter of minutes thanks to the Google Home App, no connection problems whatever. The JBL Playlist Speaker has quite a nice sound for something 12.5 inches long by 5 inches high by the same amount deep though it runs on AC power only and not batteries which is a pity. As well as Chromecast Audio you get Bluetooth so you can pair the speaker directly with your Smartphone. No remote control but the buttons are mounted on the top, volume controls etc. The bass radiator is mounted at the back of the speaker and you can certainly feel it radiating bass. I’m going to buy another so I can have more than one of these speakers working at the same time in different rooms and why wouldn’t anyone grab a few of these at $120 each, that’s what I paid in Australian dollars from eBay.
